The Chicken Dance Mama

Why Chicken Dance Mama, you may ask?  Well, it’s simple really.  I love all things fun and cheesy.  One of my most favorite things to do is to attend a wedding and dance the night away to each and every cheesy wedding song, including the Chicken Dance.  I enjoy having fun and living life to the fullest.  I love the Word where it says:

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.   Proverbs 17:22 (NIV)

As I live my life and walk down the path the Lord has for me, I want to live with a cheerful heart. The Chicken Dance Mama personifies everything fun and cheesy about life. When I praise Him, I can’t help but dance.  I love in the scriptures where David dances for joy before the Lord without fear of consequences from the people (2 Samuel 6). I, too, will dance for joy! The Message Version encourages us to dance. It says:

Let them praise his name in dance; strike up the band and make great music!  Psalm 149:3 (The Message)

I say, AMEN! Won’t you join me in dancing in praise for our Father in heaven? I can’t wait to dance with you at the marriage banquet in heaven one day. What fun will we have there dancing the chicken dance and all the other cheesy wedding dances forever and ever!
